Take the Lady of the Lake to Stehekin
Nestled deep within the North Cascades mountain range, Stehekin is only reachable by boat or plane, adding to its sense of wonder and romance.
Half of the fun of a trip to Stehekin is the boat ride to get there! Book a trip with Lake Chelan’s own “Lady of the Lake,” the ferry service to Stehekin operating four times weekly in the winter.
During the ride, you’ll enjoy exclusive views of the remote wilderness surrounding Lake Chelan’s northern half and towering mountains in nearly all directions. It’s a beautiful and peaceful ride offering a glimpse of the region’s geological past.
Once in Stehekin, venture along one of the many trails offering breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery. There are several accommodation options for those wishing for an overnight stay, or pack in as much winter romance as possible in the 1.5-hour layover the Lady of the Lake offers.

Because of its elevation, Echo Ridge is prone to snow earlier in the season, so check the conditions before heading out!
