It’s the most wonderful time of the year…SPOOKY SEASON!

To say that we’re big fans of Halloween at The Lodge would be quite an understatement. We’re SO excited to participate in the third year of Haunted Manson — Harvest by Day, Haunted by Night!

Here’s an inside look at all the tricks and treats planned for this year’s Haunted Manson festivities.

Haunted Manson is organized and funded by the Manson Chamber of Commerce.

Not-So-Spooky Delights

Never fear, Haunted Manson includes a variety of family-friendly activities to get the kiddos out and about!

All month long, our downtown Manson businesses and surrounding wineries and tasting rooms put on a show with colorful fall displays and their very own themed scarecrows! It’s all part of the Scarecrow Contest, so make sure to bop from shop to shop to meet the Scarecrows and cast your vote for your favorite.

It all leads up to the grand finale: the Trunk r’ Treat on Halloween hosted by North Shore Bible Church! Locals go ALL OUT with creative car “costumes” and there’s loads of candy to hand out. Rumor has it there may even be a huge bucket truck that unloads mounds of treats from way up high!

Haunted Manson Block Party – Saturday, October 28th

This is THE EVENT of the season! Our Haunted Manson Block Party takes place on Saturday, October 28th. It’s an ALL DAY AND NIGHT celebration featuring so much spooktacular fun!

During the day, bring the whole family into downtown Manson to enjoy street food and explore the trinkets and treasures of the vendor village. 

Plus, kiddos can enjoy a Pumpkin Walk around participating businesses! Pick up a map at the info booths downtown and collect treats and stamps from select businesses in Downtown Manson. Collect all the stamps and submit your map back to the info booth for a special treat!

Additionally, the Zombie Dash takes place from 4pm – 6pm. This is your chance to sprint (err..shuffle…) as fast as you can for the chance at a grand prize valued at over $250!

Registered participants in zombie attire get a 5 second advantage, plus BEST COSTUME wins an additional prize, not to mention all the gruesome glory!

There is also an awesome opportunity to support the Manson Chamber of Commerce! Stop by Radiance Winery between 12pm and 8pm for a silent auction benefitting the arts!

This fundraiser benefits the Manson Chamber of Commerce’s effort in promoting the arts, including:

• Performing arts
• Makeup arts
• Set design
• Experiential design

In addition, the MCC helps local students achieve their goals by including them in Haunted Manson’s arts opportunities and donating money to their schools.

Once the auction is complete, it’s time to BOO-gie down to the beats of DJ Shaigrr at our Haunted Dance Party! This is a free, costumed event for ADULT monsters, spirits, and spectres aged 21+.

We cannot wait to host visitors and locals for what promises to be an unforgettable day and night of celebrating all things Haunted Manson!

Harvesting Fun

Tricks aside, it’s a BOO-tiful time to visit the Lake Chelan Valley! The wine and apple harvests are in full swing, and there are several fabulous agritourism options to explore!
