Hooked on Manson Fishing Derby – April 22, 2023
Grab your fishing pole and tackle boxes because the Manson Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the Hooked on Manson Trout Fishing Derby on Wapato Lake, April 22 at 5am! This derby is open to youth and adults with three age categories, including up to 8 years old, 9-16 years old, and 17+!
All Anglers will compete for three place prizes by catching and reeling in three of the largest fish. Each fish will be judged by weight to determine what place each angler gets. This year’s grand prize is a 4-day pass at Slidewaters Water Park!
SCHEDULE:
- Registration Opens: 5am at the Wapato Lake Boat Launch – 153 E Wapato Lake Rd. Manson, WA 98831
- Derby Fishing Starts: 6am
- Registrations: Closes at 10am
- Weight In: You will have until 12pm to bring in up to 3 fish for a cumulative weight in.
- Award Presentations: 1pm – You must be present to win

Lake Chelan Wine and Jazz Festival

From May 18 – 21st you can experience the most unique music festival of its kind, featuring a wide range of jazz genres, including funk, R&B, Latin jazz, vocalists, and traditional jazz styles. Twenty bands play at 13 wineries and venues around the Lake Chelan Wine Valley with 50 performances in all!

Calling all car enthusiasts – get ready for your dreams to come true during the Manson Smoke on The Water All Class Car Show on May 19th & 20th!
The streets of Manson will soon be filled with an array of classic, luxury, and exotic vehicles. With something for everyone – from vintage horsepower aficionados to tuning enthusiasts hoping to show off their custom paint jobs – this year’s event is sure to fulfill your love for cars.
