As you know, we take YOUR dollars seriously.  Improving and updating our property for your enjoyment is one of our top priorities.  We began our 2020/21 Property Improvement Project in early winter and worked all the way into the late spring!

We started with remodeling all the kitchenettes and every room downstairs (except the Hotel Impossible Suite, of course!) and remodeled the Lobby and Gift Shop. We finished the rooms smoothly, but due to some production problems for the Gift Shop cabinets we had to wait several extra months to finish that area. It felt like it would NEVER get done.  Finally… (drum roll please) the wait is over, and we have unveiled our new gift shop!  It is ready for your late-night snack binges, or that one important item that you forgot to bring. We’ve got it all!

Thanks to our amazing maintenance team here at The Lodge and our favorite local wood craftsman, Larry Cabe (he did all the other woodwork in the Lobby and Family Room), the Gift Shop looks better than ever! We moved our drink cooler out onto the cabinet top for easy access and added new and modern styled slat board with movable hooks and baskets so we can continue to customize our displays and add yummy new treats and accessories for our “family’s” growing needs and desires. We’ve added new shelving by the front window Where we’ve added to our plethora of MVL branded swag. We added new coffee mugs, shot glasses, drink chillers, flip-flops and floaties; right along with our freshly rebranded t-shirts, and men’s and ladies tank tops. We’ve got all the essentials to make your trip as memorable as possible.

We still have games, books, pool towels, and grilling kits for you to check out.  And we still have our assortment of beer and wines for purchase.  Now we’re ready for your shopping enjoyment!  If there is something you think we should add, by all means, please let us know!
