Winterfest 2021
It’s coming! It’s coming! After much deliberation and debate, we finally have an update to the annual Winterfest celebration in the Lake Chelan Valley. Winterfest will be a little different this year, but businesses here in the Lake Chelan Valley have gotten creative to provide all our visitors with a unique and memorable experience to kick off 2021!
The Lake Chelan and Manson Chamber of Commerce’s have officially released the schedule of events for the weekend of January 15-18th. Click here for the Lake Chelan Chamber’s Website, the Manson Chamber of Commerce, or read on for some great information.
Winterfest kicks off Friday the 15th with Winterfest buttons going on sale at noon at the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce for 5$. This is your token to free gifts from businesses all over the Lake Chelan Valley and is a MUST for guests experiencing Winterfest. Commemorative Winterfest wine glasses are available at valley wineries (with the purchase of a Winterfest Button and glass/bottle purchase of Wine) throughout the weekend.
Additionally, Friday is when you will find amazing ice sculptures going up throughout the Valley, including right here at Mountain View Lodge! Driving maps will be available for the self-guided, grand ice carving tour which starts Saturday morning and runs through Monday, the 18th. Be sure to have your camera ready for some “chilling” photo ops. What a great way to see all there is to see during this beautiful winter tradition at Lake Chelan!
Saturday kicks off with hot coca & cider along with the annual Mitten Walk in downtown Manson. With wine barrel rides and an appearance by Olaf, this is a real treat for kids of all ages! For a Mitten Walk map click here. In the City of Chelan, you’ll find the annual Find Tsilly scavenger hunt and apple bin rides in downtown Chelan.
In the evening, you’ll find warm, cozy firepits nestled outside businesses along the streets of downtown Manson with the road closed to traffic. At 5pm hop on the Lady of the Lake and join the holiday lights boat parade followed by simultaneous fireworks shows in Chelan AND Manson at 6PM.
