With the constant change in the nature of business in the hotel and hospitality industry; Mountain View Lodge and Resort works hard to creatively cultivate unique experiences for our guests we like to call “family.” This could not be any truer in the year 2020 where social distancing and extreme safety measures are required! The difference is in the details! Whatever the occasion that brings our guests to the quaint village of Manson on the north shore of Lake Chelan, our goal as a business is to present an environment that continues to create memories with every visit. Afterall, “we’re here to make good things happen for other people!”
This month we have rolled out four new “Add-on” packages that you can include while making your reservation over the phone, or on our website before “checking out.” These packages are also available to add on to any existing reservation, even after you arrive. So, no matter the occasion we will help you and your loved ones create a unique experience during your stay. Our guests have the option of choosing between the “Cocoa and Cookies” package, The “Red Wine & Chocolate” package, the “Washington Wine” Package, and the “Movie Night” package.
The “Cocoa and Cookies” package is perfect for adults and kids alike. The package includes two matching his/hers custom MVLR mugs along with a plate of Uncle Dave’s famous chocolate chip cookies and several packs of hot cocoa (refills available by request) and a book of crossword or word search puzzles. This package is sure to keep your spirits warm and bright on the coldest of nights. The matching mugs are also available for individual purchase in the gift shop.
The “Red Wine & Chocolate” package is a great option to surprise your partner for a birthday, anniversary or just because! This package includes two Townshend wine glasses, a bottle of either Townshend Red Table or Purple Table wine, an assortment of Godiva chocolates and a book of adult Mad Libs that will be sure to have you and your partner entertained for hours. As with any package we will always include a personalized card for your special someone waiting in the room along with some fresh cut flowers (upon availability).
The “Washington Wine” package is an excellent addition to any reservation. This fabulous package highlights three exceptional Lake Chelan wines and includes matching MVL wine glasses and a fresh made charcuterie board for your snacking pleasure. Yes, we did include a little cheese to go with that wine! Guests have the option of choosing either Malbec, Viognier, or Rosé by Rio Vista Wines. What a great start to your “holiday!”
And, finally, the “Movie Night” package is the perfect addition to the brand new 55” TV in your room. After a wonderful day of exploration on Lake Chelan, in the wineries or around the hills… kick back with a big souvenir popcorn box full of goodies including Cracker Jack’s, popcorn, theater-sized candies, some fun selfie decorations, and soda pop! It’s just a little icing on the cake of your perfect day!
