This COVID thing has thrown us all for a loop. It doesn’t matter what our thoughts, it’s been hard on everyone and every business. Well, the wineries have taken their share of hardships but are tough as nails and the grapes are still growing.
In fact, there’s a new tasting room that is popping up here in the Lake Chelan valley, just down the road from Mountain View Lodge. It is called Navarre Coulee Vineyards and they are planning their opening this 4th of July weekend. The tasting room is located at 70 Wapato Way right in the heart of our downtown Manson.
The owners have been growing grapes for many years and have a well-established vineyard of Cab Franc, Cab Sauv and Meritage. A collaboration between long-time friends brings this yummy private collection of reds out of the cellar and available to you. Be sure to drop in and have a taste while you welcome them to the “family!”
In addition, all our (and your) favorite Lake Chelan Wine Valley wines and winemaking friends are up and running, and are anxious to welcome you back! Currently, these establishments are allowed to have 25% indoor occupancy and many are adapting outside space, as well. Wineries, restaurants and and all local businesses are taking extra care to ensure the health and safety of their customers by following all guidelines set by the Governor of Washington. Many will even make special reservations for private tastings so be sure to give them a call!
If you need winery guides, recommendations or directions just ask the friendly Mountain View Lodge staff at the Front Desk. They are always happy to help!
