Mi Paloma Cocina y Cultura – Truly Authentic!

by | Jun 1, 2020 | Food

Just down the street from the Mountain View Lodge, in the quaint downtown of Manson, Washington sits a yummy piece of Mexican heritage!  Nestled between My Buddy’s Place and Radiance Winery, you’ll find Mi Paloma Cocina y Cultura, a sweet little café serving authentic homemade Mexican food made from recipes from the Viveros family.  Their food is made fresh and they specialize in small plates with rotating favorites. A large portion of their foods are vegetarian and vegan.  They have a full bar, too!

Recently, yes during these strange COVID times, our very own Matt’s (both of them!) had an opportunity to give Mi Paloma a try… take out, of course!

Matt 1 reported back saying, “Their Baja Fish Tacos we’re amazing!  The cod that was used to make them was so juicy! Also, their to go margaritas are to die for!  They are doing to-go drinks better than anyone I’ve seen in the Valley!”  And Matt 2 said, “LOVE their fresh, crispy fish tacos!  Two are a meal!”

A couple of years ago, you would have known Mi Paloma as Manson’s beloved El Vaquero, a Lake Chelan local and visitor favorite!  The Viveros family decided it was time for a change and voila! Mi Paloma was born.  You can give them a try daily for take-out. I’m thinking the fish tacos are a no-brainer!  Contact them at 509-687-3179 or walk right up to the window.  You can also find them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/MiPalomaCC/.  Tell them Mountain View Lodge sent you and that we say hi!
